I slept at 5 this morning.
-_- I now have humongous eye bags.
We played some game called "Warfare" for the first event, and although the game was designed in a way in which no one was supposed to win, WE WON!
....and I didn't even get to eat the Timeout.
*sigh*
After that we had pizza and then a session with ex-podium members from previous batches, which was immense fun. We learned a lot too. : )
Public Speaking is not easy, really.
Another thing was the Night Walk, a.k.a "
Ghost Walk".
I was really freaked out with all the Ghost stories they told us while we were waiting.
The
5 Main Mysteries of SR.
1. The Area near the Basketball Courts A Taxi Driver apparently died near the Basketball courts, while jogging on the track. He normally jogged at Hougang Stadium, but he decided to jog at SR for that particular weekend, and got a heart attack twice and passed on. SR was a little too much to take for him.
2. The Trees near the New Car park (ex) I believe they're already cut down, but it seems that a local neighborhood guy decided to commit suicide of one of the trees, and the principal at that time had actually cut down the tree after the event happened, and planted a new tree in its place. But even after that, the new tree had strange things happening to it, it was stunted and there were students claiming they saw stuff there. So the Principal put a boat at that stunted tree, so that no one could go too close to it.
3. The Area Beneath the Old Rock Wall Apparently about four people have fallen from it and injured themselves severely, but no one has died. (thank goodness). But it seems that seniors that have been on the shost walk w=have seen things over there.
4. The "Invisible Seat" at LT4 (ex) There used to be a seat in the old LT4 (changed 3 years ago) that no one could see. It was there, but whoever sat in that seat became invisible. Dissapears.
5. The girl's toilet near the Bookshop Girls don't seem to be able to feel anything near there, but the guys that pass the place at night are completely freaked out. Also, many people slip and fall there, all of them breaking legs, and there's something that "flies" as well. Urgh.
@_@
And we had to pass all these places at about
1-2 in the morning,
ALONE.
-_-"'
I was at the first area where the told me I'd find light sticks (which I did, but they didn't help much and didn't tell me where to go next because there were only 2 and they weren't really pointing anywhere in particular) So I went back to the start to ask, but they called me back because the residents nearby complained that we were really noisy and even sent down
3 police cars.
Yikes and
thank God.
To tell you the truth, I was praying like there was no tomorrow before the walk.
*sigh*
I fell asleep at about five in the morning, woke up at six thirty, then went back to sleep and woke up at seven plus again, and had roti prata for breakfast. :D
And we had a few rounds of "full name wacko" and "who did it" with Agatha Christie's "Death on the Nile" or something like that. :D
Then we packed and went home!
I want to go to Clarke Quay tomorrow to get some Doujin and Yaoi and Mags. x)
