Aloha. Again. Hmmm. I attended some Rock concert called "Youth Gone Wild just the night before, much to my regret.
Why? Well, for one, I had a free Ronin-signed guitar snatched from me and my legs seeemed to forget how to function after all that standing and 'jumping' for about five hours.
It was basically just a gathering of local music, and we were the spectators. Now, I never really had a passion for local music, but hell, some of them were actually good. Well, I must confess, I haven't heard most of the songs they played, but I sang along when I could.
I can practically name all the bands that played there, though I haven't heard most of them before.
Well, first off there's 3dash1, a three-man band that, according to me, possess the potential to make it BIG, bigger than most of the bands so far. I'm actually planning on getting their CD, actually. They vocal and lead guitar kinda looks like Kirito, so I guess taht's another plus.
Then there was Velvet Rose, a band that was alright, I guess. The songs they played were very much my taste, so I pretty much enjoyed the performance they put up. Well, they played MCR! Haha.
Next up was I don't know, Typewriter? Yeah, they're this local band that wrote their own music. They're pretty okay I guess.
West Grand Boulevard. Umm. I couldn't really hear the vocal, haha. Me and Cassandra were up front, so all that reached our ears was the blasting music.
Peepshow, another local band. Apparently, they played during the National Day celebrations. Yeah, they were fun. The vocal had this cute tag, 'I am a sexy musician', and his fans were like shouting and screaming the word SEXY and making catcalls from behind us. The vocal was also flirting with the people in the front row, hitting on the girl beside Cassandra and MAYBE behind me. Haha, but they were great. They actually made me smile.
Umm, next up was Lucid Vapour? Yeah, they were okay. Their vocal was quite cute, and I faintly remember the Bassist loking extremely hostile, but maybe it's just me. Haha.
After them was what? ROnin? haha. Levan friggin' crossdressed. He was wearing this convent girl uniform a bit too small for him with pink shorts and knee-high stockings. and he kissed Cassandra on the lips. haha. Oh well, I shall skip the free guitar part because it'll do naught but upset me.
Yeah, after that Ronin was some Cedar girl band....they were pretty amatuer-ish, but I guess since it's their first gig, it's forgiveable. But we left half-way through the first song...
Yeah, that's about it. Have to go for lunch now.
